A ‘Must Have’ 5 Power Tools on Your Tool Box

Do you want to have an equipped toolbox which can be used from simple things like fixing simple picture frame or creating much more advance projects like building your own chair? Maybe, as a new wood worker you are aiming to accumulate almost all the tools that you things you need. Yes, you can buy almost all the tools but I’m sure that it will cost you a huge amount of money. I won’t be helping you to be McGyver but I will help you to know the necessary power tools that you need.

Here are the things that you need:

Drill



Usually used in boring holes for screws, with a help from different bits, electric drills can also be used in grinding, sanding and mixing.  Even though you survive borrowing drills from your neighbors or friends, for a DIY guy this tool is a must have. Cordless drills are efficient to use but buying drills with cords is much cheaper.

Jigsaw



A power tool used in cutting different shapes into wood, jigsaw is a useful tool for all woodworking enthusiasts. Aside from wood, it can also be used in cutting shapes into metal.

Impact Wrench



Powered by compressed air, impact wrenches are used to tighten nuts and bolts. It can be used in many industries such as automotive repair, product assembly, heavy equipment maintenance and major construction projects. Even though it functions alike with normal wrenches, it is much more safe to use. It tightens nuts and bolts easily.

Circular Saw



A power tool with a sharp toothed disc is used in cutting wood, plastics and even metals. It is great for cutting lumbers and shortening table legs.

Laser Level



The laser level is a tool consisting of a laser beam projector and a tripod which projects a green or red light that is leveled with the horizontal and vertical axis. It is mainly used in surveying and construction.
